The
Gongshan Muntjac Muntiacus gongshanensis
| The
Gongshan Muntjac is one of the recently discovered species
of Muntjac. Little has been discovered about its way of life
or biology since its discovery in the early 1900s. They are
found in Tibet and northern Myanmar. Numbers appear to be
falling due to over hunting by local people, but this is unclear
and more research is needed. |
