Numbers
of Black Muntjac are falling rapidly, with only 5,000 thought
to be left remaining in the wild. They are threatened because
of over hunting and habitat loss. They are found in eastern
central China. They live in mixed forest areas and are similar
in appearance to the Indian Muntjac.
